D2367PH 23 Inch 3D Monitor Review D2367 PH Review
This review is more kind of my experience with AOC D2367PH 23 inch 3D monitor which I bought 2 weeks back. It cost me a total of INR 14,000(including taxes).
Before buying this monitor I did a lot of online researching during day and night.
What made me buy this monitor was its contrast ratio. Which I found this is the highest in this category and price range. Note 8 zeros not 7 :)
Contrast Ratio (typical) is 50000000:1 (DCR)
Full HD resolution 1920x1080
The D2367PH support full HD resolution of 1920×1080@60Hz. Which is great. The images are crystal clear, crispy and sharp.
3D Support
This is something I did not utilize so much, but I like its hot key to simulate 2D things to 3D. That means if you want to see how 3D look you can just click a button in the back right corner and that's it your content is displayed as 3D. I guess there are very few monitors in the market having this feature.
Connectivity
This is the most import aspect to check before buying any monitor. That is will it be a fit for your PC if you have an older box. D2367PH provides below connecting options 15-pin D-Sub -> for connecting with older motherboards, it is same ping with we used with CRT. HDMI*2 -> Monitor can connect to 2 HDMI cables that is awesome.
Problem faced and resolved
Even though the color quality was great but I saw as if there were hoizontal line blinking and all icons on desktop was showing some light shadows on right bottom of the image. When I open notepad and dragged whole notepad window up and down I see white shadow move up and down along with notepad on right end.
At first I felt disappointed. Then I searched across the web and found some suggestion.
Few guys said to use only HDMI cable that means I need to either change my motherboard to support HDMI output as it currently have only D-Sub 15 pin output. Or I need to buy and attach a graphics card with that output connectivity.
I did 2 things to fix the issue,
1) When I brought this monitor home, I simply removed my old monitor and plugged D2367ph with old cables, that was the main source of problem. When I used the original cables for both data and power, my problem got resolved. I also noticed some sort of set up happened after plugging the original cable and starting the box again. Now I am fully satisfied with the image quality and display. This monitor is really value for money.
Another tweak I followed is, I moved all wires of electrical input and PC input away from monitor. Also I moved my speaker which was just behind the monitor away from it. And that is it.

I found my decision correct when I played "Finding Nemo" animated movie on this monitor, everyone in the room said wow. The amazing graphics come live with this monitor. We have seen this movie multiple times earlier, but it seems this is the first time we are watching it. We kept on admiring the display colour quality during whole movie.
The other compelling feature is its viewing angle

This is really great feature, which we get with IPS display. I remember my daughter adjusting monitoring up and down, left and right to view the movies properly because in old monitors without IPS the picture totally not visible if you are not sitting in front, but this has been fully resolved and the things are visible at almost any angle. If you can see the front view of the monitor you can see the picture clearly as if sitting in front of it.

D2367Ph comes with 2 in built speaker which is just at the bottom of the panel. Speakers are just to support you when you do not have a speaker attached to your computer. but these are very low volume and not of very good quality. But this is just to support you when you run out of external quality speakers. So this is something I do not complain.
So far I am fully satisfied with this, I used to wait reach back my home after office and use this fantastic product. Love it and my daughter used to say that see has something others do not have.
